After his wife Helen passed away seven years ago after 72 years of marriage, Allock lived alone in the family home for a short time and then decided to move into the Kerrobert Health Centre.
On Friday, employees at the centre threw a birthday party for Esmond.
"Oh they nearly drove me nuts. They probably took 100 pictures of me," Esmond was reported to say laughing.
"I didn't behave myself for a few years there, but then I got a really good wife," Allcock was reported to say, when asked about the secret of his long and happy life.
Staff wrapped up the party with his favourite meal: steak, carrots and fruit.
The town's Mayor Wayne Mock, also attended the party and honoured the self-proclaimed Blue Jays baseball super-fan by declaring Jan. 26 as Esmond Allcock Day.

His son Allock Dale, 78, couldn't make it to the party from Port Coquitlam, B.C.,but the two had reportedly Facetimed beforehand.
'He really is a gift. That's about all we can call that. "We Facetime every day on his iPad and you can really tell how happy he is, and they treat him like gold in there," Dale was reported to state.
Dale said his father Esmond had lived in Kerrobert, located about 200 kilometres southwest of Saskatoon, Sask for 100 years and worked as a farmer before retiring in 1975.
Esmond was reported to have 67 living relatives including 38 great grandchildren.
Danny Gallagher, Freelance writer, baseball author, ACTRA member who works in movies, TV productions & commercials, had tweeted: "Hats off to this fine, young man, who is probably the oldest Blue Jays' fan at 108. He's Esmond Allcock of Kerrobert, Sask. He has all his marbles. No dementia. He has an IPad. Imagine."
