Toronto, Mar13 (Canadian-Media): Lady Gaga -- the professional name for Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, an American singer, songwriter and actress -- has shut down rumors that she’s expecting a child by revealing that she has a new album on the way.
In a tweet, the singer confirmed that she is at work on her sixth album. “Rumors I’m pregnant?” she wrote on Twitter. “Yeah, I’m pregnant with #LG6.” The “LG6” is, of course, in reference to “Lady Gaga 6,” the highly anticipated follow-up to 2016’s Joanne.

The pregnancy rumors started after Gaga split with fiance Christian Carino which led fans to think that she was actually in love with A Star Is Born collaborator Bradley Cooper -- an American actor and filmmaker nominated for many awards, including seven Academy Awards and a Tony Award, a Grammy Award and a BAFTA Award.
Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper had performed an intimate rendition of “Shallow” during the awards broadcast, prompting speculation that their love was for real.
“First of all… social media, quite frankly, is the toilet of the internet and what it’s done to pop culture is abysmal,” Gaga told Kimmel in response to the gossip. “People saw love and, guess what, that’s what we wanted to you to see. This is a love song.”
She also said that the performance followed a vision from Cooper, who shares a child with girlfriend Irina Shayk. “From a performance perspective, it was so important to both of us that we were connected the entire time,” Gaga told Kimmel. “I’ve had my arms wrapped around Tony Bennett for three years touring the world. When you’re singing love songs, that’s how you want people to feel.” She added, “I’m an artist and I guess we did a good job. Fooled ya!”

Cooper, a music fan and Metallica devotee spent years developing the film learned guitar and piano to perform his own vocals and had tweeted, "It's one thing to sing in the shower. It's another thing to sing in front of 20,000 people."

Gaga — referred to by her real name Stefani (Germanotta) by her co-stars — also created "harmony" with all of the other songwriters who wrote for the movie, including Jason Isbell, Mark Ronson and Lukas Nelson. She kept the bar high, music-wise, Cooper said.
