Toronto, Apr 9 (Canadian-Media): The countdown to the 44th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) which runs Sep 5–15 has begun, but the excitement begins May 22 as the first ticket packages become available exclusively for TIFF Members, media reports from TIFF said.
For Festival 2019, TIFF will once again offer pre-assigned seating at four screening venues: Roy Thomson Hall, Visa Screening Room at the Princess of Wales Theatre, Elgin Theatre, and Winter Garden Theatre.
With pre-assigned seats, flexible pricing, and a variety of ticketing packages, there are more ways than ever to enjoy the Festival.
And, when it comes to selecting films, Members get to pick their favourite titles first.
Tickets are available at a variety of price points, starting at $19 for regular screenings and $26 for Premium screenings.
For those under 25, TIFF offers affordable access to the Festival starting at just $11.
Purchase Festival ticket packages — beginning May 22 for TIFF Members (according to level), June 12 for Visa cardholders, and June 19 for the public — online at tiff.net/tickets, by phone 10am–7pm ET daily at 416.599.TIFF or 1.888.599.8433, or in person 10am–10am ET daily at the Steve & Rashmi Gupta Box Office at TIFF Bell Lightbox.
Ticket packages are available until August 11, while quantities last.
May 22: TIFF Members at the Contributors Circle level and up can purchase ticket packages, starting at 10am ET.
May 29: TIFF Members at the Members 365 level and up can purchase ticket packages, starting at 10am ET.
June 12: Visa cardholders can purchase ticket packages, starting at 10am ET.
June 19: Packages go on sale to the public, starting at 10am ET.
August 11: Package sales close at 10pm
