Toronto, Jun 14 (Canadian-Media): Compiled by Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF)'s team of programmers in collaboration with film programmers and critics across the nation, Canada's Top Ten list showcases some of Canada’s finest established filmmakers, as well as emerging directorial talent from coast to coast in richness of voices, perspectives, and insights, reported TIFF.

The four best performances from the Contemporary World Cinema section of TIFF 2019 to be included in the top ten are: 'And the Birds Rained Down', directed by Louise Archambault; 'Antigone' directed by Sophie Deraspe, 'The Body Remembers When the World Broke Down' directed by Elle-Máijá Tailfeathers and Kathleen Hepburn, and 'White Lie', directed by Calvin Thomas and Yonah Lewis.
'Anne at 3000 ft', directed by Kazik Radwanski has been chosen from the section 'Platform'
From the Discovery section, 2 performances were chosen. These are 'Black Conflux' by Nicole Dorsey, and 'Murmur' by Heather Young.
'No Crying At The Dinner Table', directed by Carol Nguyen had been selected from the Short Programme 1 section.
From Short Programme 2 section the best performance to be considered as Canada's Top 10 is 'Delphine' by Chloé Robichaud.
Matthias & Maxime by Xavier Dolan is one of the films included in Canada's Top Ten list.
In the Midnight Madness series, the film chosen to be one of the Top Ten lists is 'The Twentieth Century' by Matthew Rankin.
'One Day in the Life of Noah Piugattuk' by Zacharias Kunuk has been selected from the Special Events section.
