Houston (U.S.), Jan 24 (Canadian-Media): A large Explosion of the Watson Grinding and Manufacturing plant in NW Houston plant this morning with debris blowing as far as a half-mile from the blast site, killed two and damaged nearby homes, media reports said.

Houston police received reports of the explosion around 4:15 a.m., with reports on Twitter of a boom felt across the city.
The search of one worker at the plant unaccounted for could not be started immediately, said Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo until crews closed the valves that were releasing the chemical polypropylene, a chemical compound lighter than air and will dissipate, according to the outlet.
There was no significant problems with air quality in the area surrounding the explosion site, The City of Houston tweeted.
