Ottawa, Mar 26 (Canadian-Media): World Purple Day is observed annually on March 26th people inviting people around the world to wear purple and host events in support of epilepsy awareness worldwide, media reports said.
"I wanted people around the world to come together and teach others about epilepsy" Cassidy Megan, Founder of the Purple Day was reported to state.
Epilepsy is a seizure disorder and one of the most common chronic neurological disorders. which causes a change in function or behavior.
Reportedly 50 Million people world wide have epilepsy and according to estimates, 1 in 100 people have epilepsy and the cause is unknown in 50 percent of cases.
