#Mexico; #Tamarind-FlavoredCandyWithHeroin Mexico City, Nov 2 (Canadian-Media): During inspection of a package being sent to England, the Mexican agents found 59 rolls of tamarind-flavored candy with heroin inside, media reports said. The National Guard said Friday that a cardboard box headed for an address in London was inspected by the agents using x-rays. On opening the box, they found a black substance at the center of each roll. Black tar heroin/Wikipedia The candy is made of tamarind pulp, which is normally reddish-brown in color. Mexican production of heroin is often referred to "black tar," because of its process differed from white or tan powder heroin. Tests later confirmed the substance was heroin.
