Washington, Apr 8 (Canadian-Media): Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders ended his presidential bid on Wednesday after realizing that he had not hope to beat rival Joe Biden, former vice-president, who was too far ahead, media reports said.

After advising his campaign of his decision to step down from his presidential bid, Sanders gave a virtual news conference to media and supporters addressing the COVID-19 pandemic and said,
"As I see the crisis gripping the nation, exacerbated by President Trump, I cannot in good conscience continue to mount a campaign that cannot win."
