The US Justice Department alleges that Meng's financial transactions had misled multinational financial company, HSBC, into approving more than $100 million in transactions that contravened US sanctions on Iran from 2010 to 2014. “[Joe Biden] will be more receptive to Canada asking to get this extradition thrown out,” Manly told the “Free Meng Wanzhou” panel on Nov 24.
