Islamabad, Sep 3 (Canadian-Media): Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has assured to facilitate Sikh pilgrims visiting Sikh holy sites in the country by issuing multiple visas to them, media reports said.
While addressing the first International Sikh convention, arranged by Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar at the Governor House in Lahore on Monday, Khan added that he considers this as his responsibility and duty and not a favour.
The convention, which started on Saturday, was attended by Sikh delegates from the United States, United Kingdom and Europe.
Referring to the ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan, Khan said that any military action would not be initiated by Pakistan and added that he did not believe that war is not the real solution for problems.
But he said that he would continue to raise its voice for the Kashmiris, who have been under a "lockdown" for the past 28 days.
