Toronto, Sep 26 (Canadian-Media): Expressing deep compassion and concern for everyone affected by the recent earthquakes in Mexico, U.S. Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne announced today that Ontario would be contributing $100,000 to the Mexican Red Cross through the Canadian Red Cross to assist the people of Mexico in the aftermath of this tragedy as they recover & rebuild after tragic earthquakes, Ontario News release reports said.
Wynne continued to say that backgrounds and contributions from all over the world have helped to build Ontario, and in times of such disaster, Wynne added it takes a toll on all the people in Ontario and was reported by media as saying, "Ontario has always stood willing to help those in need, and we always will...Since September 19, we have all been affected by the images from Mexico of collapsed buildings, including an elementary school...devastation is widespread and we are compelled to help our neighbours on their long road to recovery and rebuilding."

She said that she wanted to thank everyone in Ontario "who have individually committed to help, and encourage everyone to consider making a personal donation to the Canadian Red Cross," Wynne was quoted by media.
