Vancouver/Canadian-Media: $4.1 million in emergency financial assistance is being funded by Canada federal government to the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority to provide relief following a series of devastating floods in the province.

This funding is aimed to help in creating additional container storage capacity.
As the province of British Columbia is working to rebuild after unprecedented flooding earlier this month, more rainfall in the coming days and weeks is in the forecast.
According to the forecast, Metro Vancouver, Howe Sound, Whistler and the Fraser Valley would receive up to 80 millimeters of rain between now and Friday.
Rising of rivers on Thursday as a result of the rainfall is predicted by the forecasters
After that storm passes through, another is set to arrive on the coast on Saturday.
