Ottawa, Oct 20 (Canadian-Media): The daily tracking survey from Nanos Research, sponsored by The Globe and Mail and CTV, with a total of 1,200 Canadians surveyed from Oct. 17 to 19.
Founded in 1987, Nanos Research is one of North America’s premier research and strategy has helped corporations, government agencies and advocacy associations in understanding, charting and shaping the public mood.
The daily tracking survey from Nanos Research on Sunday had the Conservatives at 31.5 percent and the Liberals at 31 percent. The New Democrats were at 18.8 percent, the Greens at 9.5 percent, the Bloc Québécois at 7 percent and the People’s Party at 1.8 percent. It has a margin of error of 2.8 percentage points, 19 times out of 20. Respondents were asked: “If a federal election were held today, could you please rank your top two current local voting preferences?”
