Calgary (Alberta), Nov 14 (Canadian-Media): The Calgary Flames' TJ Brodie the defenceman had been taken to hospital for evaluation after collapsing on the ice during a practice at the Scotiabank Saddledome, Calgary, media reports said.

The Calgary Flames, a professional ice hockey team based in Calgary, Alberta, are members of the Pacific Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League.
Brodie unexpectedly fell on the ice and began convulsing and was stabilized by the athletic therapists who immediately came to check on him and transported him to a local hospital for evaluation.
Brodie, 29, who hails from Chatham, Ontario is in his ninth season with the Flames and has eight assists in 21 games this season.
