Toronto, Sept 16 (Canadian-Media): Inspired by a group based in Toronto that promotes Muslim women in sports, Toronto raptors have introduced a new line of team-branded hijabs (head coverings worn by some Muslim women) in an effort to be more inclusive to fans of all cultures, media reports said.

The team partnered with Nike to design the hijabs and unveiled them on Twitter, saying the athletic apparel was “inspired by those brave enough to change the game.”
Owned by Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, the Raptors claimed to be the first team in the National Basketball Association to offer an athletic hijab.
