Toronto, Sept 23 (Canadian-Media): The rights to 'Super Size Me: Holy Chicken', directed by Academy Award® nominee Morgan Spurlock and co-written with Jeremy Chilnick, from Warrior Poets, Snoot Entertainment and Public Domain was acquired by YouTube, announced on Sep. 22 by media reports.
YouTube, a Google company was reportedly launched in May 2005 with a belief that the world is a better place when we listen, share and build community through our stories.
An award-winning and Academy Award®-nominated writer, director and producer. Morgan Spurlock's first film, 'Super Size Me', received Best Directing honors, and was premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2004.

Soon after that it won the inaugural Writers Guild of America Best Documentary Screenplay.
The greatest Movie ever sold, 'Where in the World is Osama Bin Laden?', 'One Direction: This is Us', 'Rats', 'The Eagle Hunters' and many are other films from Spurlock.
The Oscar® nominated documentary, 'Super Size Me 2: Holy Chicken! -- officially selected from the Festival’s Documentary Premiere section -- was world premiered at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival (TIIF). This documentary is reported to be theatrically released in 2018, followed by the exclusive global premiere on YouTube Red.
According to official reports, YouTube Red is a subscription that gives you access to YouTube Red Original movies and series, a premium music service and is currently available in the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and Korea.
The successful release of his documentary “Vlogumentary” on YouTube Red in 2016 was followed by “Supersize Me 2” which reportedly marked Spurlock's partnership for the second time with YouTube.

The film was produced by Warrior Poets’ Morgan Spurlock, Jeremy Chilnick and Matthew Galkin, as well as Keith Calder and Jessica Calder of Snoot Entertainment -- co-founded by Keith Calder and Jess Calder in 2004 to develop, finance, and produce films across all genres and media -- and Spencer Silna and Nicole Barton of Public Domain, production and finance company that focuses on filmmaker-driven, culturally resonant feature films.
